Introducing Graph Search: The Whole New Way of Searching Facebook

Facebook Graph Search Screen

Facebook Graph Search has a lot of potential. It employs an intelligent approach to search that is based on user-specific information within your personal network of friends.

Basically, Graph Search provides Facebook users with personalized search results when they look for something using the Search Bar.

Just like the News Feed, which is based on friend updates you choose to show up in your feed, Graph Search is unique only to you. For example, if you just moved to Knoxville, TN and are looking for a dentist you can trust, try searching for “dentist’s offices my friends visited in Knoxville TN.” Graph Search will provide a list of dental offices recommended by your friends – your most trusted referral source.

If you are a dentist who heavily relies on the power of Social Media to establish your online brand presence and drive office visits, Graph Search will undoubtedly bring new traffic to your Facebook page, and your website. All you need to do is to make sure your Facebook business page is complete, with accurate location information as well as engaging posts that link back to your website. Remember to interact with your followers every day, so they are likely to recommend your business to their friends.

While Facebook Graph Search is in Beta form and is still not yet available to many users, you may sign up to try this unique feature here.
