On the evening of June 3rd, VIEO Design hosted more than 100 guests at our office for The Art of Inbound Marketing: A Beer & Wine Social.
Our event was a part of HubSpot's first international Inbound Marketing Week, which brings together business owners, marketers, and digital gurus around the world at more than 70 events.
We are thrilled that so many people in Knoxville are interested in learning more about Inbound Marketing, not to mention in the works of art by Knoxville-area artists we displayed on our walls.
As we plied them with mini cinnamon rolls and croissant sandwiches, our guests quizzed the VIEO team about everything from blogging and SEO to user interface best practices and how to increase form conversion rates. We’re sure the free wine and beer helped, but we like to think we give pretty good advice!

Our event featured art from Bob Carr, JoAnn Parsley, Dennis Sabo, and Chuck Jensen, and most of the artists were able to come and discuss their work with the other attendees. Eight lucky guests even walked away with prints and original art from Bob and JoAnn after our hourly drawings!

In addition to the art, we gave away gift cards to long-time client Brazeiros Churrascaria, t-shirts and mugs donated by our wonderful client Apple Health and Wellness, mugs and water bottles from HubSpot (you can pick up yours here), and a copy of Confidence Beyond Measure by our friend and client Dr. Bernard Sullivan.
To give our guests a chance to learn more about Inbound Marketing at their own pace, we tweeted links to some of our most relevant blog posts during the evening and ran a presentation on Inbound methods (view it on Slideshare here) on all of our computers.
