When Infrasave Radiant Heaters came to us, their site wasn't performing as well as they had hoped and a website design makeover was in order. In our first meetings, we learned that they wanted their new site to be a resource for customers and distributors, with a clean, modern, attractive look that would appeal to their buyer personas.
Let's talk functionality.
The goal was to take a normal website and turn it into a resource hub. To achieve this, we developed custom product page layouts designed to help both customers and distributors find everything they needed in one place.
These pages feature an overview at the top with quick links for finding a distributor, requesting distributor pricing, and getting a quote, as well as icons representing the kind of spaces the product is suited for.
Further down the product pages, visitors can find demonstration videos, detailed information, and supplemental resources. We also custom-created a "Patio ROI Calculator " to act as a sales tool for outdoor heaters. Visitors can plug in detailed information about their outdoor spaces to calculate the return on investment of an Infrasave heater, a powerful way to increase conversions.
Infrasave's Visual Identity
The client wanted a warm and visual-heavy website design, which guided the color choices and the overall layout of the site. I also used patterns and textures to complement the content and create visual interest throughout the site.
Infrasave also asked for a showcase for new and featured heaters, so we created a highly visual rotating hero area to displays these products. Because they make heaters for just about any space, we created a homepage section with the different categories to help each visitor easily navigate to the type of heater that will work for his or her space.
We also included a featured area about Infrasave's impressive warranty, because even though their high-quality heaters almost never break down, they want customers to be confident that if something does happen, they'll be protected.
Finally, Infrasave has an impressive client list, so we featured their logos on key pages to build legitimacy in the eyes of visitors and potential customers.
Custom websites are fun to design, because we can really dig deeply into what the client needs, and find out of the box solutions that really work for them. In the end, pretty sites are nice, but functional sites are even better—especially when they reflect the company's products and values like the Infrasave site does.
