I'm sure you know this already, but having a well-designed and appealing site is a must! You never get a second chance to make a first impression, and if a new visitor doesn't like what they see then they'll probably leave and never come back.
Here are a few of my favorite websites that truly stand out.
I love the simplicity of this site and its great use of color, typography, and imagery. The site not only follows the company's branding, but gives you a real feel for who they are. It's a parallax site, but it isn't overdone with animations, just some really cool effects and illustrations.
#2 - Grovemade
This attractive, compelling site has a very clean, simple feel, and with the uses of large images and clean typography, it flows really well. I love the highlights the company puts on their employees; it makes Grovemade feel more genuine and unique.
#3 - Pace Law
This website really stood out to me. It's a surprising site for the industry - you don't expect it to be a law firm when you first visit. It, too, is a parallax site, and it sets them apart from any other law firm. The large imagery and clean feel and typography gives a modern edge, the opposite of the stuffy feel you sometimes get with an attorney's website.
#4 - WDG
I love the flat design of this website and all the little hidden gems that are animated with parallax! We've had the opportunity to work with these guys over the years and always love to see what they come up with in design and web technology.
So, those are my picks for great web design. Thanks for reading, and leave a comment to tell me what some of your favorite websites are!
