What happens when you take one former social worker from the Midwest and one Knoxville native with an unnatural attachment to fleece vests, and then give them adjoining desks?
The worst daytime cop show in television history, obviously. But beyond that, you’ve also got the newest members of our VIEO Design team, Torrie Boggs and Aaron Teffeteller. Both Torrie and Aaron joined us recently as project managers, and we’re delighted to have them with us, especially as we kick off an exciting new year of web design and inbound marketing projects.
Meet Torrie Boggs
Originally from Hammond, Indiana, an area commonly and mysteriously referred to as The Region, Torrie first got to know VIEO through our Knoxville HubSpot User Group (HUG) meetups.
Afterward, she read up on our company, our work, and our truly wonderful team of people. Her penchant for thorough research now benefits us as she works as part of our team to execute project strategies. Torrie's bachelor’s in social work first took her to case management and counseling before she came to Knoxville, and her tactical approach has served her well here as she works alongside our clients and internal team to reach new goals for 2016.
Torrie lives by the ancient project warrior code of organization. “Have a plan,” she says, straightening her collection of stylish office supplies. “Then implement and analyze as you go.”
The glow from her MacBook screen reflects off the polished surface of her pen holder as Torrie gazes deeply into customer data reports for the week. In the distance, an eagle soars majestically across the horizon, a pack of assorted highlighter pink Post-It notes clutched in its sparkling talons.
When not juggling deadlines and deliverables, Torrie enjoys hanging out with her husband and six-year-old son, exploring the Knoxville area as @ShesGotKnoxy, and learning new skills. Just to give you an idea, she recently started practicing calligraphy and screen printing tee-shirts.
Meet Aaron Teffeteller
Aaron, meanwhile, was glad to join VIEO for the people, the atmosphere, and to finally—in his words—“not have any stalkers” (whatever that means). As a former on-air radio personality, social media director, program director, and marketing director for various media outlets across the state, he’s used to navigating client projects and the demands of a public following. Overzealous fans aside, though, his professional background has honed his abilities to draw an audience and boost engagement.
It’s this combination of experience and understanding that make him a great asset to our team and our clients. Marketing and writing for our customers’ buyer personas is vital to successful outreach, and Aaron has risen to the challenge of learning and implementing VIEO’s methods.
He’s also added to our office’s burgeoning number of Funko collectibles, bringing Star Wars bobblehead representation to what had largely been Game of Thrones and Marvel territory. But Aaron isn’t a single-hobby nerd man. He also enjoys woodworking (check out his bio) and is, quite rightfully, a huge UT Vols football fan.
“I was told VIEO was a premier place to hang my hat and get some work done,” he says. “I’m looking forward to learning from an amazing group of creative and talented people.”
As our team grows, so does our ability to offer innovative inbound marketing and web design services to businesses across the country. We’re thrilled to begin 2016 on such a strong note and look forward to delivering even more client delight throughout the new year.
