SEO Tips from Warren Buffett, Part 7: Don’t Worry about Slow Progress
The last few posts in our SEO Tips from Warren Buffett have been all about tough love. And yes, a lot of the time you do need to cut your losses and move on.
This post, however, is more optimistic. Sometimes, slow and steady does win the race, and that's definitely true of SEO.
Marketers and SEOs rarely see success immediately - you have to build your value to search engines steadily over time, but after a while, those gains can have an exponential effect.

TIP #7: When you’re making progress toward a big SEO goal, but progress is slow, don’t lose patience.
If you are making progress toward a difficult SEO goal, take a pause before you give up and go for easier, but considerably smaller, rewards.
Unless you’re lucky enough to have a viral video or post that explodes your brand on the scene of a competitive market (do NOT count on this as part of your success plan), big SEO goals take a lot of time and persistence to achieve.
Remember: the payoff as you approach those goals is well worth the time and effort. Don’t let go of progress and big payoffs down the road just because there’s a shiny short-term payoff that’s staring you in the face.
Stay strong. Be persistent as you strive for the big win.
