If We Win at the 2014 Big Wigs, We Promise to Embarrass Ourselves
We're excited to announce (can't you tell from the picture?) that 6 members of the VIEO Design staff have been nominated for the 2014 AAF Knoxville Big Wig Awards!
We would love your help recognizing them for their hard work - it only takes about 60 seconds to vote, and voting is open to everyone!
We promise that if we win, we'll make a funny acceptance speech video wearing the most impressive wigs we can find.
Our team members on the ballot and the categories in which they were nominated are (drumroll, please):
Best Digital Strategist/Analyst - Holly Yalove
Best Web Programmer - Paul Gibson
Best Blogger - Emily Winsauer
Best SEM or SEO Specialist - Chase Cleckner
Best Social Media Specialist - Amanda Martin
Best Intern - Lauren Nelson
The 5th-annual Knoxville Big Wigs are intended to recognize the people behind the best marketing and advertising in East Tennessee. Last year, VIEO's Lead Designer Paul Gibson won for Best Programmer (his third time receiving that award), and our CMO Holly Yalove won for "Most Likely to Be My Boss in 10 Years." Casey Owens and Melanie Chandler were both nominated for Best Intern and John Goethert was nominated for Best Media Buyer.
AAF Knoxville is the local chapter of the advertising industry's biggest professional trade organization. Voting is open from Oct. 6th to 13th, and the winners will be announced at an awards gala on October 22nd at Club LeConte.
As VIEO's content director, Emily Winsauer was responsible for content strategy for VIEO and our clients for over 5 years. She recently moved to Seattle where she's still creating compelling content in her new role.
